The Fresh Pathways Academy Courses are a self-paced, mail-based learning program designed by system-impacted individuals for system-impacted individuals. It provides guidance on parole board preparation, personal growth, emotional intelligence, life skills, and reentry strategies to support a successful transition into society.

2. How does the correspondence course work?

Participants receive physical course materials by mail, complete assignments at their own pace, and return them for review and feedback. The course provides structured lessons that promote self-reflection, goal setting, and practical skill development.

3. How do I get started?

To enroll, send a request with your full name, inmate number, facility address, and course selection by mail, or have a family member enroll online.

4. Can my family and friends pay for the course?

Yes! Family and friends can pay online or send a money order or institutional check on your behalf.

5. What if I don’t receive my course?

If you do not receive your course within a reasonable timeframe, contact us via mail or have a loved one reach out by phone or email for assistance.

6. Do I get a letter for the parole board and a certificate?

Yes! Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion and, if requested, a letter documenting your participation for the parole board.

7. What are the methods of payment?
